5 things for a glamourous life

“Everything you want should be yours: the type of work you want; the relationships you need;
the social, mental, and aesthetic stimulation that will make you happy and fulfilled;
 the money you require for the lifestyle you want; and any requirement that you may need
for achievement to service others. If you don’t aim for it all, you’ll never get it all
To aim for it requires that you know what you want” ~ Richard Koch

After reading this beautiful quote it reminded me how important a true lifestyle is. Not all the fancy schmancy things, the little things. What makes a lifestyle truly glamourous and rich?

1) Travel- Always be spontaneous and break habits.
2) Take up a hobby. Learn japanese, take guitar lessons. Do something you never thought you could.
3) Add more fresh flowers to your life. They are God's gift to us, and they will brighten your day.
4) Buy the best linens you can afford. We spend half our live's in bed, make them count. And yes that pun was intended! They are the epitome of luxury, and the best night's sleep, which we all need.
5) Be good to yourself, Laugh often and look for inspiration in everything you do because you will need it to service others.

Be good to yourself, laugh often, and always remember that your worst
day CAN be your best day if it equals change.

  4. I really love this post and totally agree. I indulge in the bedding department and never regret it. When we travel we always go off the beaten path for something a little special and unpredictable. This past weekend we indulged in Omakase because it is off the wall...I ate so much pickled seaweed I freaked myself out, but interestingly enough I felt so brave and good about doing something kinda off the wall.

    This post really resonated with me. Good stuff.

    xoxo,
    Carrie

  6. Agreed! We have made a commitment as a family to focus more on what will make memories (vacations, joining a club with a pool, new experiences) and spend less time and money on STUFF that no one will remember.

    The only thing I would add to this list is to not go cheap on your hair. Good hair color and style can change your life!

  11. This post is looking very informative. The key point of this post is its valuable information. After reading this post any one will get some very important points which are only helpful even precious also. I use to visit the post of many different kinds but it is the first time when I am fully satisfied. Now a days people are in to the habit of making posts. I think it would be a good inspiration for them.
